Georgia property tax. Nothing else. Since 1992.
EQUITAX is a boutique Atlanta firm that has spent more than three decades on one question: is this property assessed fairly? Homeowners, investors and businesses across Georgia bring us their notices. We bring county relationships & experience.

- 1992

- 159

Four things we do differently.
- 01
We read the notice the way an assessor would.
Our advisors came to EQUITAX directly from county tax assessors’ offices. They know how a value was built before they question it.
- 02
We work county by county.
Fulton does not file like DeKalb. Boards, calendars, hearing formats and filing channels differ, and the details decide whether an appeal is heard. We have built relationships inside the counties for more than three decades!
- 03
We tell you when there is no case.
A review can end with “leave it alone.” We will happily defer your appeal to the following tax year.
- 04
We carry it through the hearing.
Filing, evidence, scheduling and the appearance before the county board are handled for you, with every stage recorded in your portal.
A local team you can actually reach.
No call center. The person who answers the phone knows your file, and the advisor who reviews your property is the one who appears at the hearing.

Most of our work happens by phone, in your portal and at the county. If you would like to visit, call first so the right person is here with your file open.
Before you get started.
Does the savings estimate commit me to anything?
No. The estimate is a figure from our past results. Representation begins when you sign the authorization online, and that is what lets us file your appeal.
Will you guarantee a lower tax bill?
No. Results depend on the property, supporting evidence, county decisions and applicable tax rules. Your advisor can assess the circumstances; an address alone cannot establish savings.
Can I talk to someone instead of using the portal?
Of course, we’d love to talk to you. Call 404-351-5354 about the property, the fees or anything else on your mind.
Talk to a person who knows your county.
Of course, we’d love to talk to you. Call the office, or see what you could save online first.
